Bendiner & Schlesinger, Inc. provides full testing services in the examination of Gynecological and Non-Gynecological cytology and tissue Pathology for the presence of disease. Some highlighted tests include:

ThinPrep® Pap Test

The tests below can be performed from the same ThinPrep vial:

Human Papillomavirus (HPV)/DNA
Chlamydia T., Amplified/N. Gonorrhea, Amplified

CYTOLOGY

Bendiner & Schlesinger. Inc. returns normal Pap smear results routinely in three to five working days. Bendiner & Schlesinger. Inc.'s Cytology Department complies not only with Government standards but with strict self-imposed internal quality assurance procedures as well. Our cytotechnologists and pathologists are experienced and highly capable. Bendiner & Schlesinger. Inc. uses the Bethesda Nomenclature System of reporting. The Cytology Department will call significant abnormal results (e.g. High Grade Squamous Intraepithelial Lesion and higher) to the physicians' office.

SURGICAL PATHOLOGY

Bendiner & Schlesinger. Inc. has highly capable and experienced pathologists. Specimens are usually processed during the next work day. A preliminary diagnosis is available by telephone or other means if the physician indicates the need on his or her requisition. A final, signed report will always follow any preliminary report.

TEST REQUISITION FORM

Bendiner & Schlesinger. Inc. provides cytology requisition forms for cytology requests and Tissue exam request forms for surgical pathology samples.

SUPPLIES

All supplies necessary for proper collection, preparation and storage are provided to Bendiner & Schlesinger. Inc. clients.
